NetEntGaming systems supplier Net Entertainment (NetEnt) has chosen Christmas to give its customers the present of mobile games. Three casino games will initially launch for Apple iOS devices before being rolled out to other suppliers in due course. The games on offer will be Gonzo’s Quest, Jack Hammer and Blackjack. Acting CEO Björn Krantz said: “Our partners have been waiting for the day Net Entertainment introduces its first mobile games, and I am very happy that we now can offer their players a great end to end experience moving forward. We will continue to build up a solid portfolio of mobile games, which will frequently be launched to the market.”

Irish bookmaker Boylesports has launched a new casino in conjunction with Playtech. Boylescasino.com includes both web-based and downloadable casinos with a full outlay of branded, progressive and classic slots as well as table and card games. The deal builds on the relationship between the two that has already been nurtured through the poker and bingo software that Playtech provides.

Sports betting exchange Betfair is the new broadcasting sponsor of horseracing across RTE Sport’s stable of platforms. The six-month deal will see Betfair branding across RTE TV, Radio 1 and RTE.ie, the broadcaster’s website. The TV channel covers 23 days of live Irish racing each year with the footage simulcast online within Ireland. RTE also shows key meetings from Britain including Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot and the Grand National. “Betfair is delighted to join forces with RTE Sport in sponsoring its cross-media racing coverage,” said Barry Orr from Betfair.
