With cash game poker and online casino games making their debut in the Italian market this week with various operators, William Hill has become the latest to officially launch its new online casino offering powered by Playtech.
William Hill said yesterday that it has launched its new Playtech-powered online casino on the company’s WilliamHill.it platform following approval from Italian regulatory AAMS. The new site offers Italian players a wide variety of casino games including several versions of roulette, blackjack, and video poker.
Like other operators just getting their feet wet in the Italian market, William Hill is promising a full suite of games to follow.
“We’ve spent over a year and a half in the design and development stage and we’re really proud of the outcome,” said Roby Salvadori, William Hill’s head of Italian operations in the release. “The site itself is fun, fresh and secure and we believe it will be a big hit with Italian players.”
William Hill is one of several Playtech licensees to launch online casino operations this week, alongside the likes of Sisal, SNAI, Buongiorno, and Titan.
Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said, “The Italian market continues to be a major constituent of the European regulated environment, and we are happy to further strengthen our position there with the addition of cash table poker and casino…Our innovative and fully-compliant gaming product enables licensees to benefit from the extensive opportunities that the regulated Italian market has to offer.”
