At the end of March bet-at-home.com made sure that they would have a head-start towards a German presence should the sportbetting market open up by signing a deal to sponsor the ATP German Open for the next three years.
Now, Infront Sports & Media, the long-term marketing partner to the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), has inked a new agreement with bet-at-home.com as their new Official Sponsor of the 2011 IIHF World Championship. BetclicEverest ‘s subsidiary, Bet-At-Home.com joins a line up of 13 international top sponsors.
The Official Sponsorship package for the 2011 IIHF World Championship provides bet-at-home.com with product category exclusivity and guarantees the company a strong presence at all 56 games of the tournament. Additionally, the sponsorship deal does come with its fair share of perks, namely: board advertising, brand exposure on the official event homepage and in all print materials, and attractive hospitality opportunities during the two weeks of the event (29 April – 15 May 2011).
The tournament does draw its share of viewers, in 2010 the cumulative television audience reached a record of 734.7 million viewers. This year the 2011 IIHF World Championship will be held in Bratislava and Košice, Slovakia.
The move was a logical one for bet-at-home.com, the company already has sponsorship deals with ice hockey teams such as HC Sparta Prague, HC Kosice, EC VSV, and EHC Liwest Black Wings Linz.
