The mainstream accolades keep on coming for online gaming companies. It was just last month that the Sunday Times picked PKR as the UK’s most successful privately-owned technology company. Now the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) has tapped software supplier Playtech as the International Company of the Year at the 2010 AIM Awards.
Playtech, which floated in 2006, earned the nod based on its impressive growth in multiple markets over the past year. The 18-member judging panel included the chairman of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Financial Times journalists and Randy Jackson, who praised Playtech thusly: “You really brought it this year, dawg.” No points for guessing which part of that last sentence we made up.
