LAS VEGAS, Oct. 14, 2010 — International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in creating the major games that players love and the casino network systems that improve the player experience, received all five reader poll awards for its industry-leading video poker games in the August issue of Casino Player magazine.

“IGT’s video poker games continue to be the top choice for players year after year,” said Harold Zeitz, senior vice president of Core Products and Specialty Markets for IGT, “and we continue to develop new games to satisfy video poker enthusiasts. IGT is proud to see our games took each and every award in the ‘Favorite Video Poker Game’ category this year.”

The 2010 Best of Gaming awards named by Casino Player magazine resulted from its 15th annual survey, which polled the magazine’s readers on their favorite aspects of gaming. Along with casino games, the survey also included polls on readers’ favorite casinos, hotels and amenities.

The five IGT games named were Jacks or Better Poker, Deuces Wild Poker, Double Double Bonus Poker®, Bonus Poker® and Double Bonus Poker®. All five games are available as part of IGT’s Game King® suite of games. The Game King® suite remains the platinum standard in entertainment value for today’s video poker players. The suite’s most popular game families offer a variety of play strategies and pay schedules.

Named as the number one favorite, Jacks or Better Poker features straightforward game play strategy with low volatility, providing players with a steady stream of excitement. Even money is paid for a pair of jacks or better, and all 4-of-a-kinds pay 125 credits.

Coming in second was Deuces Wild Poker, with its desirable 1,000 credits for the 4-of-a-kinds deuces pay schedule. The presence of four wild cards allows for a high-hit frequency of straights, flushes and full houses.

Double Double Bonus Poker® is one of the most popular video poker games in the industry. It is a volatile game that offers an entertaining ride. The pay schedule offers “kickers” that greatly increase the value of the 4-of-a-kinds: 2,000 credits for 4-of-a-kinds Aces with a 2, 3 or 4 kicker; 800 credits for 4-of-a-kinds Aces with no kicker; and 4-of-a-kinds 2s, 3s or 4s with an Ace, 2, 3 or 4 kicker.

Also among this year’s favorites, Bonus Poker® is a moderately volatile game that is popular for offering players sizable 4-of-a-kinds jackpots: 400 credits for 4-of-a-kinds Aces; 200 credits for 4-of-a-kinds 2s, 3s and 4s; and 125 credits for all other 4-of-a-kinds.

Rounding out the winners from IGT is Double Bonus Poker®, which offers a more challenging game play strategy. The increase in skill needed to achieve optimal game play is rewarded with jackpots double that of Bonus Poker: 800 credits for 4-of-a-kinds Aces; 400 credits for 4-of-a-kinds 2s, 3s and 4s; and 250 credits for all other 4-of-a-kinds.
