While the industry continues to talk of consolidation, flotation and cost-cutting Bodog Europe is expanding its team in line with company’s growth.
Coming over from Sportingbet, where he performed a similar function, Dave Edwards joins as Director of QA for Bodog Europe. He will be responsible for quality assurance across the whole organization. The QA Director will set in place processes and practices to ensure that the company’s software products demonstrate the sort of quality and polish for which Bodog Europe stands.
Also joining the team in the swanky West End offices are Jesper Svensson (pictured), Global Casino Player Marketing Manager, Bodog Europe. Jesper was working previously at Adsdotcom on the Intercasino and Interpoker accounts where he was responsible for the P&L of the InterCasino/InterPoker Platinum Club, and before that in CRM with Ladbrokes.
A Bodog Spokesperson commented: “We are in a position to expand our talent pool and the increasing uncertainty created elsewhere in the industry by mergers, acquisitions and IPOs means we have been able to attract the best and we still have alot of opportunities available.”
These moves come hot on the heels of the Slots.com announcement that they are looking to fill 100 new positions in London and Barcelona. The Slots.com domain was purchased at auction earlier this year for nearly £4M by BodogBrand.com.
