How things change in the world of football. Today the nominations were released for UEFA’s players of the year in each position, and of the 12 only one was from a Premier League club, Wayne Rooney. This figure, two years ago, was 17 of 20, and represents a dramatic shift in the balance between European leagues.
I wonder how many we’d have were it nominations for filling the front pages of the tabloids? Crouchy, JT, Ashley Cole…the list goes on. Could even just be a list of people who slept with Vanessa Perroncel. Read more.
