It looks like everyone’s wish may well be granted just in time for Christmas at this rate, as world soccer’s governing body Fifa tabled a discussion on video technology for October’s meeting of the International Football Association Board. It was hoped that the issue would be brought forward to the current meeting taking place in Cardiff but extra assistants behind the goal are the only one being talked about.
