Full Tilt asks players to Stand Up For Poker

Howard-LedererFull Tilt Poker has become the first major online poker room to directly encourage its players to back its efforts to legalise online poker in the United States.

FTP emailed players this week, directing them to a new part of their website, called “Stand up for Poker,” where a video of pro Howard Lederer appears urging players in the US to contact their elected officials in Congress to support poker bill HR 2267.

You get the feeling that the momentum is building for the pro-gambling lobby as more and more voices begin to make themselves heard, such as Nevada Representative Shelley Berkley, who refers to the UIGEA as the Unworkable Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Read more.
