Facebook can be a time sink and for the most part people who use it daily have low attention spans, but these traffic numbers are outstanding. Facebook is the most trafficked site in the US, with 400 million users and an average of 55 minutes on the site per day per user. And no this isn’t only one big company claiming these traffic numbers and doing a behind the scenes deal to present fixed data, this is both Hitwise and Compete saying the same thing.
