Billionnaire investor Dermot Desmond has been linked with a near 4 per cent stake in Ladbrokes.
Desmond, who also owns Betdaq, is also rumoured to have been behind Chris Bell’s decision to step down as CEO of the £1.3bn-valued bookmaker last week.
