Ladbrokes player info offered for sale to UK’s Daily Mail

LadbrokesDailyMailUK newspaper the Daily Mail is reporting that a man claiming to be an IT worker named ‘Daniel’ offered them the personal information of 10,000 Ladbrokes players, and further suggested that all 4.5M names in Ladbrokes database could be made available. The Mail has made Ladbrokes aware of the situation, and handed the player info to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Britain’s data watchdog. Read more.
