Elaine Wynn, the ex-wife of casino mogul Steve Wynn, has sued Wynn Resorts for not releasing its shareholder records ahead of the company’s annual general meeting. |

Wynn is hoping that the courts will direct the company to release all shareholder material to which she is legally entitled. The suit also requests that the annual meeting be postponed until the lawsuit is settled. Weeks before she filed the lawsuit, Wynn started a campaign to remove the company director John J Hagenbuch and other “legacy directors” from the board. She even sent a letter to all shareholders urging them to join her “withhold the vote” campaign. |
