It seems like pretty much everyone tuned in to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV, but how many people stayed tuned in to watch the rather lame Halftime Show?
The Super Bowl did its job. It was a fantastic show, and a competitive game. The Nielsen reports indicated that the event topped itself again this year, with an estimated 111 million viewers tuning in to the game. We shouldn’t be surprised. This is why the gaming industry loves football and why we really love the Super Bowl. When it comes to hype and attracting viewers the Super Bowl stands alone. But as far as the gaming industry is concerned, the Super Bowl is also in a league of its own in getting sportsbetters to sign up and open betting accounts, and we can expect that trend to continue for many years to come.
While the Nielsen reports indicated that an average of 111 million viewers in the United States tuned in to watch the Super Bowl, I have to wonder just how many switched it up at halftime to something a little more entertaining than the Black Eyed Peas. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed watching Fergie strut along in that short skirt, but was quickly turned off when she started singing with Slash to ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine.’ That’s not how it’s supposed to sound. Usher tore it up as usual, but apart from that, the performance wasn’t all that exciting.
It’s a good thing the Lingerie Bowl VIII was going on at the same time. Of course if you threw an Ultimate Super Bowl Party, then you probably had that sexy game fired up and ready to go at the halftime whistle. Good on you. Gorgeous, fit women, tackling and grabbing each other in nothing but lingerie and knee pads…Football is a ‘bootyful’ game. It’s been a long road since Training Camp, but the Los Angeles Temptation took down the Philadelphia Passion 26-25 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. If you watched the game, you’ll realize that these sexy women hit hard, and really do know how to play football.
That said, it’s the images of the game and not the score that will be remembered.
