Evolution Gaming (EG) is now rolling out its platform to Pennsylvania. The Sweden-based provider of live-dealer online casino games has secured a license to operate in the Keystone State, extending its reach after launching in New Jersey. The company announced in a press release this week that the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) had approved the license and EG is now ready to launch its Live Casino products across the state.
EG previously received a “preliminary waiver” to launch its platform in New Jersey. The new agreement in Pennsylvania will help it establish a larger presence in the U.S. and provide its services to gaming operators in the state. Plans are already under way to build a new Evolution studio in Pennsylvania, but the company didn’t mention where the studio might be located.
Evolution’s Chief Business Development Officer — America & Land-based, James Stern, says in the announcement, “Demand for our Live Casino services in the U.S. has been phenomenal. We are delighted to be further expanding our U.S. operations by opening a standalone studio in Pennsylvania to serve both online operators and land-based casinos in the state. We are looking forward to opening up our world-leading Live Casino portfolio to operators and players in the state of Pennsylvania.”
The company’s Evolution studio in Atlantic City is going to be made bigger as the company grows its New Jersey operations. EG explains that the studio will double in size, adding that the expansion “will allow additional U.S. licensees to create dedicated tables and environments as well as expanding the games portfolio by adding award-winning ‘crowd pleasers’ to the existing games line-up.”
EG is partnered with 888casino in New Jersey, as well as with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Ocean Casino Resort, Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City and others and continues to find new homes for its platform. It is also in Canada, having opened a Live Casino studio in Vancouver almost 18 months ago.
The company is revolutionizing the online gaming experience and is receiving a lot of positive attention for its live-dealer offerings. It has become a major gaming partners across Europe, having signed deals with Novomatic Interactive’s Greentube arm, which is available in Italy, Spain, the U.K. and more, and additional partnerships are in the works.
