Inspired Gaming is expanding its reach in Colombia’s gaming market.
The gaming solutions provider signed an exclusive deal to supply virtual sports games to Corredor Empresarial, the Colombian national lottery operator.
Under the partnership, Inspired will deploy a range of its virtual sports offerings, including Rush Football 2, Rush Horses, Rush Motor Racing, Rush Greyhounds, Rush Motor Racing and Numbers games. Rush Football 2 was Inspired’s latest “all-new on demand and in-play virtual sports product,” which was launched at the recently held ICE Totally Gaming 2016.
The products are expected to be installed across Corredor Empresarial’s venues by the end of 2016. Inspired said its products will be “specially adapted for the Colombian market, with local language and specific bet types.”
“We have made significant investment into this market to develop a bespoke, customized solution that we are confident will entertain, excite and delight players, whilst driving incremental revenues for Corredor Empresarial,” said Inspired CCO for digital games Steve Rogers in a statement.
This is Inspired’s second deal in Colombia. In 2014, the gaming specialist signed a partnership with GENTEC to launch virtual sports in the country. GENTEC is a subsidiary of land-based casino operator Betancur Group.
Corredor Empresarial operates more than 50,000 gaming terminals in more than 5,000 venues around the country. According to Gaming Intelligence, Corredor Empresarial also operates state-owned pari-mutuel betting product Las Deportivas, which was the first licensed gambling product launched in the country in more than a decade.
Aside from Colombia’s Corredor Empresarial, Inspired Gaming’s virtual sports products were also used by land-based, online and mobile operators across 50,000 venues and more than 300 web and mobile sites in 35 countries.
Last year, Inspired Gaming teamed up with Nigeria’s Surebet247 to bring its virtual sports products in the African country. Under the partnership, Surebet247 deployed nine of Inspired’s virtual sports games at close to 1,200 retail outlets locally.
