22nd September 2012 (LONDON, UK)- Big-name poker pros are gearing up for the London Poker Festival this September as they look forward to packed calendar that takes in over 50 events around town, including seven major tournaments, plus parties, music, comedy nights and the British Poker Awards.
One player who is particularly excited about the upcoming schedule of events is former Irish Open champion Neil Channing, whose very own BlackBeltPoker.com will be holding a Poker Academy at the Genting Cromwell Mint Casino on Saturday 8th September.
“I’m really looking forward to a crazy September of tournaments in London. I’ve taken a break and I’m ready. If you feel you really aren’t quite ready for the barrage of three and four bets that are going to be coming at you in the trenches, it sounds like you might need our academy. It’s designed to help old guys like me to defend themselves from the onslaught of the kids.”
It’s not just UK pros who are looking forward the festival; former World Champion Scotty Nguyen and Big One for One winner Drop Antonio Esfandiari are also giving it the thumbs up. You can check out their comments, and see the full schedule of festival events, at www.londonpokerfestival.com.
Tickets for the BlackBeltPoker Academy which tackles the topic of “Pre-flop Aggro: How to Beat the Kids at their own Game” cost £99 and include six hours of tuition and workshops with professional players. Email [email protected] to sign up.
