William Hill has announced a partnership with ScoreMobile FC to integrate its odds into their app. UK-based users will be able to pick out their bets on a mobile phone using the ScoreMobile site before being transferred over to William Hill to place the wager. German sports betting monopoly Oddset has signed a long-term partnership with Bundlesliga double-champions Borussia Dortmund. It will mean significant stadium sponsorship for the company and they’re hoping that it coincides with the regulation of the German gambling industry. The deal also sees the two cooperating extensively in the new media sector and it will mean better value for fans of Dortmund and Oddset customers.
Paddy Power has signed a multi-year extension to their agreement with GameAccount Network (GAN) to facilitate their expansion into the Italian online gaming industry. It will give Paddy Power the chance to use GAN’s services in the country and Giovanna D’Esposito, Paddy Power’s managing director of Italy, added: “Based on our existing relationship, their commitment to Italy and wide games portfolio, GameAccount was chosen by Paddy Power as one of our partners to build and position our Italian gaming business to exploit anticipated opportunities created by further gaming regulation.”
Italian regulator l’Amministrazione autonoma dei monopoli di Stato (AAMS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with La Direzione Nazionale Antimafia to combat the infiltration of crime into the gaming industry. The agreement will see the two sides exchange data, news and information in order to stop any mafia involvement in gambling sectors. It lasts for a period of five years and will be renewed for longer if both parties are still in agreement.
