partypoker is doubling the size of the guarantee for the latest KO Series, and the partypoker LIVE sponsored Merit Poker Classic Main Event ends with a victory for Andreas Christoforou.
The doctor has removed the stethoscope from the chest of partypoker’s POWERFEST.
The heart beats healthily.
Let’s do it all again.
From May 12 – 26, the online poker operator hellbent on world domination promises to guarantee $30m in prize money during the KO Series, mirroring POWERFEST.
It’s double the size of the previous KO Series and runs in parallel with the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). There will be 226 tournaments divided between six tiers ranging from Micro to Super High Roller, and the game of choice is Progressive Knockout (PKO).
As with POWERFEST, there is no coiled rattlesnake taking centre stage. Instead, there are10 Championship Events, with nine of them guaranteeing $1m in prize money, and a $2m guaranteed event on the last day of the series where $7m+ will fly out of partypoker’s coffers, into the bank accounts of some of the best and luckiest poker players in the world, and you can buy plenty of ironing boards with that kind of money.
Here are those Championship events.
partypoker is still the only operator that doesn’t charge rake on the bounty portion of the buy-in. If that makes your internal organs tingle or puts a few strands of hair onto your bald pate, then show your appreciation by getting involved.
