DAO.CASINO’s Dmitry Belianin: Blockchain games cut costs

The blockchain can do a lot more than power cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Dmitry Belianin, chief marketing officer of DAO.Casino, spelled out what the technology can do for the online gambling industry in a recent talk with CalvinAyre.com’s Stephanie Tower.

First, Belianin explained what DAO.Casino is trying to accomplish. “We are developing a solution for the whole blockchain gaming industry,” he said. “We’re developing software for all the participants of gambling market, affiliates, game developers and other guys. So right now were trying to build a new gambling 3.0 industry, regulated by technology, and with blockchain technology in the background.”

But what they are doing with the blockchain technology is what really puts them a step ahead of the competition. The CMO explained, “We created our own SDK to allow all the gambling, game developers, all of the game developers to create their own games on the blockchain. Basically, it’s a set of tools with documentation which will allow them to build their game on the blockchain.”

How does working with DAO.Casino benefit operators? It’s really a full package, he explains. “So all of the game developers, they will use our solution, our SDK, they will get this certification as well. It will be completely fair, transparent, fast and other things.”

The problem for this advanced blockchain approach to creating games continues to be adoption, and a lack of understanding. “Some people hear about blockchain but they don’t know what it is,” he says. “Everyone thinks that blockchain is all about payments, you know its crypto, Bitcoin, Ethereum, but it’s not. It’s all about technology.”

That technology allows for improvements in nearly every way over the current status quo. “The biggest benefit of all of it is lowering your costs,” Belianin boasts. He continues on:

“You don’t need servers, you don’t need some additional tasks, you don’t need a team of people managing all of your servers, everything is in the blockchain… And because of that cutting of the costs, developers and casino operators are cutting their costs, and at the end of the day, the house edge can be lower for the end user, so the players will also benefit from the lower house edge. They can play their favorite games with new game mechanics, because some new game mechanics are available right now because of the blockchain. They can play new crazy games with a lower house edge.”

New blockchain-based games have already appeared on the market, boasting their provable fairness and ability to work with Bitcoin SV payments, so the evidence of what Belianin talks about is out there. Now when more operators buy in, more companies and players will see the benefits of blockchain gambling.
