Betting on Football 2017 offers more than just business experience

Betting on Football isn’t considered the largest sports betting industry event today for nothing.

The three-day conference, organized by SBC Events, is known for bringing together an impressive line-up of world-class speakers and having a massive turnout—year after year—of senior industry delegates. But aside from an extensive range of content, Betting on Football 2017 has also stacked up unique networking features and competitions for the event at Stamford Bridge (May 3-5).

Betting on Football 2017 offers more than just business experienceFor Betting on Football’s fourth iteration, organizers have set up networking opportunities in and around the exhibition floor, stadium tours, as well as two high-level parties.

Wednesday evening features the first of the two official networking parties at the Kensington Roof. Aside from networking drinks, the party will also screen the week’s second Champions League semi-final between Monaco and Juventus. The second official networking party will offer drinks and Europa League football at ‘Under the Bridge,’ the famous London club below Stamford Bridge.

Delegates are also invited to catch up with existing contacts or arrange quick introductions to new ones at the Racing Post Café, while some companies have secured private meeting rooms that look out onto the pitch.

“You can easily convert your new acquaintances and meetings into business leads and bring back plenty of ROI from the event,” said SBC Events Director Lizzie Blake.

Stadium tours, esports tournaments

The three-day conference is offering more than just networking drinks.

Organizers have partnered with Intertops, which will be sponsoring stadium tours on Wednesday afternoon, while Digital Fuel Marketing will once again host a FIFA tournament on its stand during the networking drinks. Players who will manage to knock Europe’s No. 1-ranked FIFA17 player Jamboo out of the tournament will get a signed West Ham shirt, while the best placed non-professional will take home an Xbox.

“SBC was founded on networking parties so we take extra care in making sure that we help people attending our events to make valuable connections. This is why we invest more in our networking parties and have also launched our event app on Android and iOS,” said SBC Managing Director Andrew McCarron.
