3: Barrels: Unibet Open epic mannequin shoot; Jack Salter wins Aria HR; Trump blocks Brunson

Three barrels of pure value including an epic 300+ person mannequin shoot from Unibet Open Bucharest; Jack Salter wins the latest Aria High Roller, and Donald Trump blocks the Godfather of poker.

The Mannequin Challenge viral video campaign hit poker this week when a 300+ strong field at the Unibet Open in Bucharest posed for the craze that began in US high schools last month.

Check it out.

Local boy Traian Bostan was one man not acting like a dummy. The Romanian topped the 603 entrant field to take the €100,000 first prize after beating the British pro-Eli Heath in heads-up action.

Seven of the final nine were Romanians, and they included Dan Murariu, who was attempting to become the first player to win three Unibet Open titles after victories in Varna and St.Maarten. Incredibly, this was Murariu’s sixth final table appearance at a Unibet Open.

The event was a first for Unibet in Bucharest and the first time they had ever held a €500,000 guaranteed event. It was a good shout. The final prize pool was €584,910.

Jack Salter Warms up For WPT Action With Aria Win

British pro, Jack Salter, has warmed up for the World Poker Tour (WPT) Five Diamond Poker Classic with a victory in a $25,000 High Roller at the Aria.

Not many people, if any, win more of these things than Byron Kaverman. On this occasion, the former Global Poker Index (GPI) #1 had to settle for third place. The former World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event winner, Joe McKeehen finished seventh.

Donald Trump Blocks Doyle Brunson

3: Barrels: Unibet Open epic mannequin shoot; Jack Salter wins Aria HR; Trump blocks BrunsonI took his threat to build a wall to keep out the Mexicans with a pinch of salt. When he said, that climate change was a load of bollocks I assumed he was pulling my leg. But to block Doyle Brunson on Twitter. We can’t have a man like this in charge of the free world.

It’s official.

Donald Trump has blocked Doyle Brunson for voicing his political opinion despite The Godfather of Poker being a Trump fan.

Holy smoke indeed Doyle. Whatever next? Mike Matusow?

Fortunately, it’s not personal. An article in Mashable said that Trump was on the Twitter rampage firing his followers left, right and centre. However, he is not doing a great job. When Mashable reported Trump’s blanket blocking, he had 16.5m followers. Today, he has 200,000 more.
