Slot Summit returns with future-focused agenda

The European slot and electronic gaming machine industry will meet in Germany in just under 5 weeks time. Set in the vibrant city center of Berlin, this year’s European Slot Summit looks set to be the best yet.

Slot Summit returns with future-focused agenda“This is a great time to go to Berlin, the center of the European gaming market”, said Lucien Wijsman, Director of content at the Slot Summit and Totally Gaming Academy. “The Slot Summit will be an excellent chance for operators and suppliers to network and the Summit offers unrivalled opportunities to see the latest product releases and learn future trends. We’ve also got a great evening programme lined up which all attendees are invited too.”

The Slot Summit is famed for its future-focused agenda spanning marketing insight and innovation, the latest gaming floor trends, case studies, new technologies and cutting-edge game development, ensuring that operators can leave the event with a firm idea of their future planning and spending requirements.

“What is going to happen with tablet technology? What sort of communications will be used by casinos in the future? How are games designed? These – and more – are all interesting topics that are relevant for people who work in the slot and electronic gaming machine industry.” Wijsman added.

Since the Slot Summits conception the agenda has been heavily marketing focused, however this year the event has introduced ‘Slot Summit Tech’ – a separate conference agenda running alongside the Slot Summit. All attendees to the Slot Summit can attend both  conferences however Slot Summit tech is more applicable to those in technical roles, with content specifically focused into the future of payment and touch screen technologies and the likely evolution of slot technology.

However it’s not all work and no play. “At the Slot Summit we ensure that the event is purely learning and networking, with no sales pitches. Only operators are allowed to attend the event as a delegate, all suppliers must sponsor if they wish to attend. To keep the fun going we have organised 2 nights of brilliant entertainment at Casino Berlin and Hofbrau House Berlin – I’m really looking forward to it!” explained Lucien.

The Slot Summit is taking place at Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt on the 18th – 20th April and there is still time to secure a last minute place. For only €900, the delegate Package includes full access to the Slot Summit & Slot Summit Tech conferences, all coffee breaks and lunch, dinner and evening entertainment on the 18th and 19th April and all additional networking events.
