Tiger Woods Poker Night in Conjunction With the World Poker Tour

Tiger Woods poker skills will be tested to the limit as he sits down to do battle with the likes of Antonio Esfandiari, Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Mike Sexton as part of the third annual Tiger Jam charity event.

Tiger Woods Poker Night in Conjunction With the World Poker TourWe all know what Tiger Woods can do on the golfing green, but what does he have in the locker when it comes to the green baize of the poker felt?

All will be revealed as the most famous face in golf once again joins forces with the World Poker Tour (WPT) for Tiger’s Poker Night, due to take place May 16-17 at the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort in Las Vegas.

It’s the third successive year of the annual Tiger Jam charity event hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation, and it promises to be a another amazing event aimed at creating opportunities for the underserved youth of America.

The man himself will be the host of an event that last year saw The Tiger Woods of Poker – Phil Ivey – come face to face with the Tiger Woods of Tiger Woods.

It’s doubtful that Ivey will be able to get out of his front door this year, such is the volume of baccarat lawsuits piling outside of his letterbox, but Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, Doyle Brunson and Mike Sexton are due to make an appearance. The WPT will also film the event and use some of the footage in their shows.

The two-day charity event combines golf, poker, cuisine and music, with the beneficiaries of every single penny raised being the underprivileged children of America, whom Woods has been helping since he first launched the charity back in 1997.

There are many fantastic prizes to be won including PRO-AM playing spots in premier PGA Tour events, and a round of golf with the legend himself.

Day 2 will see the poker tables, and golf clubs, stowed and the guitars and drums will come out as the Grammy-nominated pop-rock outfit OneRepublic take to the stage to rock the foundations of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

“This unique and entertaining event gives so much to my foundation, helping us grow our programs and providing even more young people with a shot at college,” said Tiger Woods.
