The Asian Poker Tour‘s rollicking calendar of events is making its next pit stop in the Philippines for the APT Asian Series Manila 2012. The event, which will be held at Resorts World Manila’s Prosperity Court located on the 2nd Level Gaming Area from September 19-25, is the fourth stop of the poker tour’s Asian Series, following in the combined success of previous stops in Cebu, Philippines, Goa, India, and Grand Bay, Mauritius.
Overall, the Asian Series Manila 2012 will feature a schedule full of events, highlighted by a Php50,000-Main Event, ten side events including the very first 10-6-4 Handed event, six satellites, and an Add-On for Charity event. The other side events include the Head Hunter tournament, the PokerAce High Rollers, the Ladies of Poker event, the MegaSportsWorld Deep Stack Turbo event, the DafaPoker Freezeout event, and a Six-Handed event.
Needless to say, that’s a whole lot of variety that poker players of all skill levels will enjoy choosing from.
But the highlight of the week-long poker festivities is still the Main Event, which we expect to draw more participants than three previous Asian Series stops. After all, this is Manila, a growing melting pot of some of the best poker players in the Asian region.
The APT Asian Series Manila 2012 is the fourth of five scheduled stops for the poker series. As soon as the curtains close in Manila on the 25th, the Asian Poker will take a two-month long hiatus before it once again packs it bags to go to the Svay Rieng, Cambodia for the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2012 from November 14 to November 20.
From there, the APT goes back to India for their last major tournament of the year, APT India, which will be held The series then makes its final stop at the Casino Royale Goa in Panjim, India.
For now, all eyes are in the Philippines for the Asian Series Manila 2012. The Asian Poker Tour is bringing its top level brand of poker onto Philippine shores so prepare for some heated felt action this month.
