Betfred and Stan James have become the first two online gaming industry sites to take advantage of SIS’s Kickoff product. The product is aimed at boosting in-running betting and markets itself as an “interactive hosted football predictor and form guide.” It was launched at the start of the current football season as an ante-post betting focused product. Although Dominic Atkinson, head of business at SIS, explained: “Already there are signs that it’s proving a very persuasive product for online sportsbooks, with punters recycling information over and over, and then placing a bet.”
SIS also has a treat for high-street punters with the addition of silks graphics to their screens. Any race being shown on SIS FACTS or SIS+ will feature the silks and numbers of the leading trio of horses throughout the race. If the positions change so do the graphics and Brent Dolan, commercial director, commented: “SIS is always looking at ways to improve our programme and this innovation will certainly help punters to better enjoy their racing.”
WMS Gaming has teamed up with Large Animal Games to enter the social gaming industry. The two have developed “Lucky Cruise” using content from WMS casino games alongside the social gaming know how of Lucky Animal Games. It will be distributed on Facebook by 6Waves/LOLApps and works on a points system. Orrin J. Edidin, president of WMS, commented: “We joined forces with Large Animal Games almost a year ago as part of our initiatives to prove how WMS slot content can be ‘socialized’ to attract new audiences for WMS slot content at our land-based customers’ casinos and to partner with casino operators seeking to enter the social casino space.”
