International Gaming Law Summit lands in London

c5 media associate 1C5’s second event in a month gets underway later with the International Gaming Law Summit coming straight from London’s Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel. The event focuses on the gaming industry on a global basis from 29th to 30th November and aims to give those attending a well-rounded view of the online gaming marketplace.

Why attend though? Well if the chance to rub shoulders with gambling industry peers in the centre of the iGaming industry, London, wasn’t enough then a who’s who of industry heavyweights on the list of speakers will persuade you to attend. Dignitaries from the world of gambling regulation, sport and law professionals are already confirmed with the likes of Pâquerette Girard Zappelli, secretary of the IOC Ethics Commission, Paul Scotney, director of Integrity Services and Licensing at the BHA, and Clive Hawkwood, chief executive of Remote Gambling Association topping the bill.

On the regulatory side of the coin, there are notable speakers from both the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and Malta’s Lottery and Gaming Authority to pore over regulatory changes that are expected in the coming months. Those attending will be treated to a preview of what is expected over the coming months in Denmark, Spain and Germany as well as an overview of the continuing effect of the Black Friday indictments.

The second day of the conference will fix its gaze on the changes in the UK’s gambling industry policy and the chance of Europe-wide regulation ever taking place. Apart from all these distinguished sessions there’s also the chance for you to network to your heart’s content.
