Scientific Games appoints new vice president

Scientific GamesThe Scientific Games Corporation has appointed Grier Raclin as senior vice president and general counsel of the company.
Grier Raclin will be replacing Ira Raphaelson who has served in the role for the past five years.

Raclin most recently served as Of Counsel at Thompson Coburn LLP, but also has experience in a similar role having served as executive vice president, general counsel and later chief administrative officer of of a large American cable television operator in Charter Communications, Inc.

Raclin brings additional valuable experience to his new role having also served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of IT company Savvis Inc.

What also may prove to be a huge asset for Scientific Games, is the fact that Ralcin served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of Global TeleSystems Inc, a London-based provider of voice, mobile and data services to businesses throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Russia and Asia.
