Vitali Klitschko has made it clear that he would happily help David Haye onto the canvas should they ever meet in the ring. We knew it wouldn’t be long before the general bitching would be back on the agenda. A lot more is coming from the side with the power and the older of the two brothers may now face the London fighter.
Vitali told the BBC, “I was the happiest man in the world that my brother beat him but I’m unhappy that Wladimir to send him to the floor.
“That did not happen because it’s difficult when someone is running away. Maybe in the future if I have a chance to send him to the floor, I will.”
Haye may not even have more of a chance against a fighter even more experienced than Wladimir. Hayemaker doesn’t really have a lot left to hold onto though. If he wants to retire in October, then he is technically still the third best in the world and could hold out for a rematch. Broken toe aside.
Vitali and his younger brother Wladimir hold every title in the heavyweight division -that should now be changed to the boreweight division- because of the techincally soung but non-agressive style the brothers employ in the ring. The big idea is still yet to be tapped into though. If the promoters want to get anywhere near the hype that a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao would bring, then there’s only one thing for it – the brothers fight each other.
To set off this chain of events will be very tough. If the promoters had been a bit more aggressive about it all then we’re sure that the News of the World would have been delighted to procure some information in anyway they know how. For now though, we can look forward to seeing the Hayemouther start jabbering on before being thoroughly outclassed for a second time. Then time for Money vs Pacman!
