Swiftstake Technologies, a provider of real-time marketing intelligence and sales solutions to the retail sports betting and lottery sectors, has appointed John Anderson, former CEO and current non-executive director of 888 Holdings to their board of directors.
Being on the board of Swiftstake is just one of the hats Anderson wears, he’s also non-executive chairman of Probability (Gibraltar), chairman of the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC), deputy chairman of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA), and non-Executive Chairman of 10 Bet.
It is expected that Anderson will use his experience and expertise to provide insight into the gaming sector and help drive the growth and direction of Swiftstake.
Anderson commented on his new role in the release saying, “I was introduced to Swiftstake Technologies earlier this year and immediately saw the impact their solutions would have on the regulated gaming sector…Swiftstake will play a vital role in enabling retail lottery and betting operators to increase same-store sales and improve customer retention which is much needed when considering the growth of alternative digital channels…I was asked to join the board of the company and had no hesitation – this is one of the most exciting entrants to the regulated gaming sector in some time.”
Leigh Nissim, commercial director and UK managing director of Swiftstake also added in the release: “John’s appointment to our board is a real endorsement of the approach and strategy we are taking to the regulated gaming sector.”
