The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Asian Series, aka Diet APT, has announced the latest stop on the tour. Manila will play host to the series when it comes knocking in late August as Resorts World Manila welcomes the slimmed down version in all its glory.
The jewel in the crown is the main event that is a PHP 50,000 buy in and is one of the more affordable on the world poker circuit. There are also 10 side events taking place as well as nine main event satellites in the lead up.
Chief Executive Officer of the APT, Jeff Mann, said, “We are tremendously excited to announce the second installment of the APT Asian Series and are particularly pleased that we will be partnering once again with the very professional team and magnificent facilities – the best in the Philippines – at Resorts World Manila.”
Asia is currently one of the areas experiencing unprecedented growth in the gambling space and this only goes to show the progress that is being made.
