Sporting Solutions rolls out MLB interactive offering for opening day

The MLB season opening day is approaching very quickly and Sporting Solutions has made an initiative to capitalize on the great American pastime and its loyal following of bettors.

Founded in 1992, Sporting Solutions is the business-to-business (B2B) provider of Sporting Index, and provides trading and pricing services to the betting and gaming industry. The company has now announced that that it will be offering its partners up to sixty in-play MLB games per week all updated in real-time.

Everyone knows how much more exciting in-play wagering can be, and companies have been trying to capitalize on interactive betting from some time now. That said, baseball may find itself a little more popular with bettors this year given the fact that they may have no NFL to look forward to in the fall.

As such, Sports Solutions timing to roll out its offering to its B2B partners in nine separate markets couldn’t be better. Baseball is one of the better games to offer live and interactive sports betting because the speed of the game is more accommodating to placing wagers. Additionally, there’s so many wagers that can be placed from pitch to pitch.

The baseball offering is great, but I’m a little surprised that it wasn’t accompanied by an 2011 NBA Playoffs in-play offering, considering this NBA Playoffs and Finals are expected to be the most watched in recent years.
