Isildur1 wins $100k; UKIPT breaks attendance record as Geordie wins

There’s also news from the same tournament that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones could have done with before he tried to rebrand his stadium as a sardine can for the recent Super Bowl.

Nottingham’s From Dusk Till Dawn poker club has had no such problems as the past weekend’s UKIPT has broken attendance records for a poker tournament in the UK.

In all 1,058 entered the £500 buy-in UKIPT Nottingham main event over the two starting days and the unprecedented numbers meant a £529,000 prize pool.
