China Press is reporting that online gambling in Johor has grown substantially over the past several months, with some cafes and private operators allegedly running illegal games and wagering 24-7. Local citizens, who clearly don’t follow the old “snitches get stitches” adage, have revealed that online gambling havens dot the city in backrooms, back alleys and the top floors of shophouses.
Police has identified at least 10 gaming centers in the city of Taman Sentosa alone, each operating its own variety of online slots, rotary tables and casino games, according to the news provider.
