You only really have to look back as far as the last six months to uncover a list as long as Stretch Armstrongs pins of new ventures GTECH G2 has put its name to. Whether it be Austria, Quebec, Italy, or even launching online bingo featuring real presenters, GTECH G2 have done it. Earlier this year they even went into education, with their seminars on thought leadership, so to continue at their current rate they needed a bit of a pick me up. You know, maybe a couple of tabs of Pro Plus everyday to go along with the Venti Americano they ordered from Starbucks. That kind of thing.
So the appointment of a new head of World Lottery Association (WLA) sales will hopefully help their plans, his name…Wayne Pickup. How appropriate is that, eh? Pickup joins the team after being responsible for managing the Australian and New Zealand markets for GTECH for the past three years.
William Scott, GTECH G2 group commercial director, was excited at the new pickup they’ve received, and commented: “Wayne is well respected within the industry. He brings to the role a credible track record of operational execution and he has demonstrated the ability to develop strong customer relationships over time.”
