Manchester United’s very own party-animal may well have gone too far with his latest stunt whilst on holiday in Portugal. Anderson, the 22-year-old Brazilian international, was pulled from the burning wreckage of his £125,000 Audi R8, ala Van Damme, ‘lifeless’ before it exploded. The car was a two-seater, but contained three people, and the trio had been out at a nightclub for the evening.
Anderson will hope the police in Portugal are as ‘lenient’ as their British counterparts, after Cristiano Ronaldo crashed his Ferrari into a tunnel last year in Manchester and it was swiftly overlooked. The pound isn’t looking too strong against the Euro though, so it could be rather costly for the cheeky Brazilian. Read more.
