The two best teams in baseball square off in what should be the most intense series in baseball this weekend. It’s really too bad that on a consistent basis, the best teams in baseball come from the American League East. On the other hand, it has produced another rivalry, but this time it’s not with the folk in Boston, it’s the folks in Tampa who will be yelling beat New York! The Rays will be hoping to steal a couple wins this weekend to close the gap on the division leading Yankees, but it’s the Yankees who are the slight favorites in game 1, with Phil Hughes on the mound, while the Rays send rookie pitcher Wade Davis to the hill.
