Betfair-Going-PublicAfter flirting with the notion of going public back in 2005, betting exchange Betfair will reportedly float an IPO for real this fall that could be worth as much as £1.5 billion. Principal stakeholders in the company, which was launched back in 1999 at the height of the dot-com boom, include co-founders Ed Wray and Andrew Black, Japanese bank Softbank and private equity firm Balderton Capital.
