$5.16 million sounds like a lot of cheese, but its chump change to entertainment giants like Harrah’s Entertainment Inc, who lead the pack in investing $1.22 million, an increase in its lobbying spend of 73% from the fourth quarter of 2009. Harrah’s wasn’t alone, there were many other contributors to the lobbying effort in Q1. No doubt when the ball drops these contributors should have some serious influence on the way the money flows.
