Partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn have united to launch the Daily UK Majors, an exclusive set of tournaments carrying $400,000 in guaranteed prize money, only available to UK & Ireland residents.
Partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) continue their campaign to create a more recreational player friendly model by introducing a new series of Daily Majors designed exclusively for players residing in the UK & Ireland.
The Daily UK Majors are being launched this week, and $400,000 additional cash is being blown into the poker rooms in order to whet your appetite.
Speaking about the new changes, DTD Founder Rob Yong said the new tournaments were ‘brilliant for UK & Ireland players’, said that they ‘offered great value,’ and promised to increase the guarantees even further as the games got more popular.
Yong is a great believer in the grassroots of poker and the Daily Majors is tailor made for that tranche of players.

7pm: Daily Major $2,000 GTD Micro. The buy-in is $5.50 and there are 20 x $27.50 Mini seats available within the guarantee.
8pm: Daily Major $10,000 GTD Mini. The buy-in is $27.50 and there are 20 x $120 Grand Prix seats available within the guarantee.
Yong believes the $10,000 GTD Mini is ‘quite simply the best tournament for UK & Ireland players anywhere online.’ It’s worth remembering that those Grand Prix seats also come with a “Grand Prix Golden Chip” giving you the chance to win a Porsche.
Each Daily Major runs seven days per week, you get a 50,000 starting stack, and the opportunity to re-enter three times. There is 90-minutes late reg time, and the Mini and Micro tournaments generate points for the partypoker UK Team Challenge, a live freeroll that will take place at DTD in October. The prizepool for that event currently stand at £35,000.
The news comes days after 888Poker also raised their guarantees by $100,000 across the board in light of recent connectivity issues on their site. There is an interesting little battle brewing for the grassroots players, and that can only be good news for the punter.
