Ladbrokes Exchange Coming Soon and a Dusk Till Dawn Leg is Added to the Genting Poker Series II

Ladbrokes Exchange Coming SoonLadbrokes Exchange is coming soon according to a new video found on the homepage of the .com site, and Genting have announced that an additional leg on the Genting Poker Series (GPS) will take place at Dusk till Dawn (DTD).

It was the turn of the year that Ladbrokes acquired the online gambling outfit Global Betting Exchange Alderney Limited (GBEA) – otherwise known as the operator of the Betdaq exchange business – in a deal worth €30m.

Since the deal was signed, both companies have operated as standalone entities, but all that is expected to change, sooner rather than later, after an ‘Exchange’ tab has been quietly squeezed into the Ladbrokes homepage in between the ‘In Play’ and ‘Vegas’ options.

Selecting the ‘Exchange’ tab takes you to a video of a colony of ants carrying jigsaw pieces of the Ladbrokes Exchange Brand with the slogan, “We’ve been working hard, day and night…to bring you…Ladbrokes Exchange.”

Unfortunately, many ants could have been killed during the filming of the ad.

“We would like to say that no ants were injured or died in the filming of this video…but regrettably we can’t,” ends the video.

There has been no word from Ladbrokes at the time of writing, but it’s believe that the exchange will now run alongside the Fixed Odds Sports book and feed into the Betdaq operation from there.

Peter Webb of the Bet Angel Blog reported that the domain name www.ladbrokesexchange.com, was first registered over 11-years ago, so someone had the idea long before the Betdaq option became available.

The Genting Poker Series Adds a Leg at Dusk Till Dawn

Dusk Till Dawn Leg is Added to the Genting Poker Series IIGenting Poker have announced an additional leg to their successful Genting Poker Series (GPS) II and it is their partners Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) that will be the hosts.

The five-day event will operate 8th Jan-12th Jan and will carry a £100,000 guarantee, with three starting flights. A wide range of satellite qualification options are available both live and online at Genting and DTD sites.

Kevin Proctor, Poker Manager at Genting UK stated in a press release; “We are delighted that Dusk till Dawn will be hosting a leg of the Genting Poker Series. The event continues to go from strength to strength, players love the deep stack format. 60 minute levels and a starting stack of 25,000 chips mean every player enjoys plenty of action, no matter what the standard of their game.

With such big money available in the main event it is no surprise that the side games are pretty strong too and we make sure that the duration of each leg has games of every value to suit every type of player. What makes the GPS special is the mix of recreational players and professionals it attracts and online qualifiers have a good record of scalping the big names in the GPS.”

DTD Owner, Rob Yong believes bringing the GPS to Dusk Till Dawn could be one of their biggest events yet, “The GPS series is all about grass roots poker, with many opportunities for the man in the street to qualify and win life changing money, so I am very happy to be hosting a leg at DTD. I hope this is just the start of more collaborative projects between Genting and DTD as we both channel our energy in to promoting poker in the UK and attracting more new players into this wonderful game.”
