100-strong Bodog Poker Network team to hit WSOP

With the early events of WSOP 2013 already under way the final online qualifiers are ongoing for the Main Event and Team Bodog will top 100 players in Las Vegas this year.

100-strong Bodog Poker Network team to hit WSOP

This is the first WSOP the Bodog Poker Network (BPN) has approached with all its players and qualifiers doing so using their once-controversial anonymous tables. So much so, in fact, that BPN President, Jonas Odman, earned the forum moniker of ‘a veritable moron’.

Much has changed since then and we have seen Bodog’s Recreational Poker Model widely copied with MicroGaming even making all their Heads-Up tables anonymous.

Exonerated moron, Jonas Odman, commented: “We still have a long way to go to make casual players aware that anonymity helps them have a better poker experience but the figures are certainly encouraging and I’m pleased we have so many players heading to Vegas this Summer.”

Bodog will also offer seats at their own $100,000 Grand Final of the Anonymous Poker Series in Manila, including flights and accommodation, to the first person to bust out of the WSOP Main Event (Day 1A) and the Bubble Boy or Girl. There are also two places at the $100,000 Grand Final of the APS in Manila for any WSOP players (in any event) who send a picture of themselves dressed as Zorro to [email protected].
