Blake Griffin about to set the NBA on fire

I know it’s early, but it isn’t hard to tell what Blake Griffin is going to do to the NBA if he can stay healthy. In his debut for the Clippers Griffin instantly cemented his place as one of the top five athletes in the NBA, the best rookie and a candidate for the Dunk Contest, and that was just in the first quarter.

Griffin would finish his debut with 20 points and 14 rebounds to go along with 4 assists for the 6’10 245 lbs monster. Griffin’s game is pure highlight reel, his first six points came off of spectacular dunks. The Clippers may actually have something going as LA’s other team with Griffin in the lineup.

With Griffin flexing his star capacity, and with the NBA already on fire after the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics opening day game attracted over 5 million viewers to make it the most watched NBA game of all time, it’s time to reel in the bettors.

Stock in Blake Griffin offering after last night should go up in popularity, as it remains to be seen just how well John Wall does in his debut, will he score more than Griffin? Will he get a double-double? Who will win the Rookie of the Year? The NBA is hot right now.
