Woodbine boosts racing’s ratings with gambling TV show

Everyone knows racetracks are in a deep hole, financially-speaking. But Canada’s Woodbine may have just built themselves a giant ladder. Management took an in-house TV program that no one was watching and converted it into a ratings winner by turning the focus exclusively on gambling. In fact, Woodbine’s online wagering site has recorded a four-fold increase in the number of new sign-ups since ‘Bet Night Live’ started airing on The Score network. Read more.
