Australian gaming device maker Aristocrat Leisure has sued rival Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT) for allegedly violating its intellectual property rights. Aristocrat alleged that AGT stole the company’s technology Lightning Link slot machine for use in AGT’s own Jackpot Strike machine. In its lawsuit, Aristocrat said the lawsuit “goes well beyond simple copyright infringement and concerns allegations of extensive and deliberate misappropriation of trade secrets, confidential information and intellectual property.”
