The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has found Palms Casino Resort, a casino in Las Vegas owned by Station Casinos, to have violated employment laws, which could have serious ramifications for the company. The NLRB ruled that the Palms is illegally refusing to recognize and negotiate with its two unions—acts that constitute unfair labor practices. With the NLRB ruling, the casino workers are urging Station Casinos to “recognize their workers’ voices and votes at the Palms and begin contract negotiations in good faith immediately.”
