Michael Hotung, nephew of SJM Holdings founder Stanley Ho, is suing for HKD2 billion ($255 million) in dividends that were supposed to belong to Hotung’s late mother Winnie Ho. He claimed that the dividends were to be derived from 6,263 shares in Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM), the parent company of SJM. The sole heir of Winnie Ho alleged that no payments had been made since 2007, forcing him to demand for the outstanding dividends plus interest.
