Our greatest fear should not be of failure …
but of succeeding at things in life that don't really matter.

The Story

Various gambling-themed initial coin offering announcements were released recently and you may not want to take part in any of them.

The companies promise something they can't deliver.

In the past weeks, Ethereum-based projects like Gamblica, a new Cardano-based project called SP8DE and a digital coin from Atari were announced. These coins, like anything offered from last year, promise some kind of wagering that are favorable to customers such as commission-free exchange betting or lack of a house edge. However, in order for these operators to become successful, they should think of ways how these coins will have a value independent of their respective sites. Until then, people should stay away from these coins that cannot be used to pay for other goods and services.
