There’s more to Sweden than beautiful blonde blue eyed women and the Sedin twins. There’s big things going on as far as the lottery is concerned in Sweden. Sweden’s Cherryföretagen has just launched what they claim to be the single most largest daily draw lottery in Europe.
The daily draw is expected to feature a guaranteed €25m progressive jackpot, and to give everyone that warm and mushy feeling, a portion of the profits will be going to the Special Olympics Norway. Cherry hopes to be expanding those contributions towards the Special Olympics Europe in the near future.
Gunnar Lind, CEO at Cherryföretagen said “It’s incredibly exciting that we now are about to launch Europe’s biggest lottery with daily draws, EuroLotto.com, with a minimum € 25 million progressive jackpot. The launch of this new product, besides broadening our portfolio, is in line with our growth strategy in Europe for online gaming.”
“We are particularly pleased with the fact that our customers also support and help our beneficiaries, Special Olympics, enabling them to send more participants to the Special Olympic Games. The product will also create opportunities for Cherry to obtain local licenses around more places in Europe,” Lind added.
Broadcasts for the daily lottery draw will be through EuroLotto.com, and in the Norwegian market, on Viasat 4 every evening at 20:27 CET.
