VIP Sports based in Curacao and Matchbook.com based in Antigua have decided to pull their business completely from Washington State residents. After the State Supreme court ruling that deemed the state’s ban on online gambling constitutional, the companies will no longer be serving Washington state residents.

VIP Sports made the decision not to accept new US customers in February of 2007 after the implementation of the UIGEA. They allowed their current customer base to continue playing if they had made deposits in the past.
Matchbook.com until recently was under the WSEX umbrella of companies led by Jay Cohen, noted for their slow, drag it out payment style, will continue to accept customers from the other 49 states in the union. The company is stepping out from WSEX and it will operate as an independent operator. It remains to be seen if their sloth-like payments continue away from Jay Cohen’s hand.
This is just another blow to Washington State online gamblers after PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker ceased operations in Washington State.
